Jeffrey A. Goldberg: Providing affordable Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy representation to select clients in need in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico areas. Goldberg is also available to practice in bankruptcy litigation and adversary matters of all types.
In the past, Goldberg established a successful practice representing condominium and homeowners associations, including a variety of civil litigation matters, including bankruptcy creditor matters, in the Chicago, Illinois area and he continues to serve of counsel to the Illinois successor firm of Barnett Law Firm, Ltd. Goldberg is authorized to practice law in New Mexico and Illinois. He has been an attorney for over 20 years, and worked as a paralegal for 10 years before that.
Goldberg was awarded a Juris Doctor degree with High Honors from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He was the valedictorian of his class and was elected to membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif. He received over twenty academic honors including: appointment to the staff of the Chicago-Kent Law Review (August 1987 to May 1988); receipt of the West Publishing Corpus Juris Secundum and Hornbook Award (1988 and 1989); receipt of the Lawrence Doppelt Scholarship; receipt of the Chicago-Kent Academic Achievement Award (1988-89 and 1989-90); receipt of the Marshall D. Ewell Founder's Award (1987); and receipt of five (5) American Jurisprudence Awards and six (6) Chicago-Kent Class Awards. He has been a frequent speaker and author of articles on a variety of legal subjects.
